Poemetry: Shadowed Light

At sight of day, night leads

Starless dark, moonless dusk,

Planting its corvine seeds.

Every light a shadow seems —

Every shadow a stilled dream —

To molt umbral gleams.

Doves turn to Crows and fly

From rivers to sand dunes,

Black on black the sky.
